The first blush

Okay I am also a blogger now. But what to write here? puzzled, I thought about politics to films, to myself or my job. But nothing seemed important enough.
Why should I write a blog? I read about how popular the blogs and bloggers have become. Some of the blogs have a status equal to that of print media, newspaper. So, without a journalism degree, this is the only way to become a journo. But who will read my blog?
My thought processes stopped at the point why people want to blog. Its to make themselves heard. So why not shout from the balcony and everyone will hear you. May be it will not be safe. People will think you are crazy and will throw you in a mental hospital. So we are blogging to escape being in a mental hospital!
